Hotel Morinokaze Tateyama‎

Location was prefect for visiting the Kurobe Alpine Route. Dinner and breakfasts are included which are traditional Japanese. We were expecting breakfast to be a buffet style as per the photos and didn't enjoy the set Japanese menu first morning. Felt wasteful as we didn't enjoy it at all. If given the option for Western breakfast at check in would have selected for both mornings, second day was lovely. Dinners were very nice, used google translate to decipher menu, only to have an idea what we were enjoying. There is also a lounge with complimentary hot and cold drinks available all day and into the evening.

Absolutely amazing hotel, good food and great onsen. They will bus you to and from the hotel at no extra cost. Great stay before taking the tateyama alpine route. Staff are very kind and helpful.

The service crew was excellent. They were super friendly and acceded to all of our requests, evening going out of the way to ensure our needs were met. Way exceeded our expectations.

Staff were great and it has everything you need in the property.

Location is best if you want to go Tateyama Alpine route for Snow wall. Only 5 mins(3km) from Tateyama station. Japanese Breakfast is delicious.
